Exclusions4

Losses occurring prior to the date of the GAP Addendum
Vehicles used for competitive racing or for a prohibited commercial purpose
Any amounts owed on the vehicle finance agreement resulting from late fees, due date changes, or from missed, delinquent, deferred, or skipped payments
If the customer has refinanced the vehicle finance agreement
Total losses resulting from dishonest, fraudulent, or illegal acts (such as DUI) by customer, customer’s family members, or other persons acting under customer’s authority
Deductions taken by the primary insurer, such as prior damage, salvage, missing items, excess towing, custom equipment, and storage

All transactions related to Chevrolet GAP are governed solely by the provisions of the Chevrolet Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) Deficiency Waiver Addendum (“Addendum”). This website provides general information only. Refer to the Addendum for full terms, conditions, and coverage details, including limitations and exclusions. Terms and conditions may vary by state. 3 Coverage is fully refundable within 30 days, as long as no claim has been filed for a loss. For cancellations after 30 days, a pro rata refund will be given, less any applicable cancellation fee, unless otherwise required by law. All refunds will be made to the financial institution/lender.
