Rumors were that Chevy was going to discontinue the Blazer after 2025, but happily, it is back again in 2026. We don’t expect any major changes in 2026, other than some color options changing.
The Blazer will continue to come in the following trims: 2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier. The starting prices will likely be about $37,500 to $45,000, depending on which trim and options you choose.
The Blazer has two powertrain options. The standard is a 228-horsepower turbocharged 2L four-cylinder. If you choose the RS trim or upgrade the other trims, you’ll get the more powerful 3.6L naturally aspirated V6 with 308 horsepower. Both engines are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and either front- or all-wheel drive.
Though we don’t have official numbers yet, we expect the same fuel economy as in 2025. The front-wheel drive four-cylinder gets about 22 mpg city and 29 mpg highway, with all-wheel drive lowering those numbers slightly. The V6 will get approximately 19 mpg city and 26 mpg highway.

Depending on which trim you choose, your digital gauge screen will be either 4.2 or 8.0 inches. A six-speaker Bose stereo system is standard, with an eight-speaker option available. Built-in navigation and a wireless charging pad are also available.
